Company history
Columbus was founded by experts from the e-commerce industry: Lorenz Weber (CEO), Martin Kern (CTO), Marcel Weber (CLO) and Peter Keller (CFO).
After more than 20 years of experience in building and operating the IT and logistics infrastructure for e-commerce companies with more than USD 100 million in sales, the founders know from their own experience which products and services companies need to succeed on the Internet.
In May 2021, Columbus.net AG was founded as a spin-off from the PCP.COM Group in order to dedicate itself to the expansion of the digital infrastructure services. Around 65 employees at 3 locations in Switzerland, Germany and Slovakia contribute everyday to the smooth running of the IT and logistics operations.
